1924: Atal Bihari Vajpayee was born in Gwalior city.
1939: Joins RSS as a volunteer.
1947: became the full circle worker of the Sangh.
1942: Participate in Quit India Movement.
1951: Vajpayee was an active member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and founder member of 'Bhartiya Jan Sangh', a political party formed in 1951.
1957: Elected to the Lok Sabha for the first time. Atal J. Balrampur (District Gonda, Uttar Pradesh) emerged victorious in the Lok Sabha as a candidate of Jan Sangh.
1968-73: After the demise of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the chief of the Indian Jana Sangh.
1975-77: During this time Atal ji remained in jail with other leaders in the emergency.
1977-79: External Affairs Minister in Morarji Desai's government and created image of India in foreign countries.
1980: Together with BJS and RSS colleagues, BJP established. Vajpayee was given the responsibility of the Bharatiya Janata Party's presidential post.
1984: In this year's elections, the BJP got reduced to just 2 seats, after that he worked hard, winning the party 88 seats in the 1989 general elections.
1991: BJP led by Atal ji emerged as the largest party in the country and won 120 seats.
1992: Padma Vibhushan Award for contribution to the nation's advancement.
1993: became the leader of the opposition in the Parliament and in the same year in Mumbai, the BJP made him the prime ministerial candidate.
1996: For the first time, became the Prime Minister of the country. However, due to lack of majority, he fell vacant after 13 days.
1998: For the second time also became the Prime Minister of the country. This time the BJP emerged as the largest party and Uthalji made the NDA which formed a government in collaboration with several parties.
1998: Only a few months after coming to power, in May, he made nuclear test in Pokaran and made the country a nuclear power.
1998: After 13 months, AIADM support parties AIADM withdrew support and Atal ji's government fell from a vote.
1999: Between India and Pakistan, started the bus service from Delhi to Lahore under the name Sadah-e-Sarhad.

AIIMS doctors gave Atal Bihari Vajpayee their last respect


On Thursday evening, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee took his last breath in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. While political leaders of the party lines including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress President Rahul Gandhi made a lineline in the hospital before the announcement of the death, but he was the doctor of the Chief Health Services Institute, the first person to make the payment was the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ) Co-founder's last honors.
The doctors paid tribute to the political power inside the ward where the former prime minister had treated. The doctors were standing in a queue and the three-time prime minister of the country kept silence to mark their last honors.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee took his last breath at 5.05 hrs on Thursday and AIIMS confirmed this through an official press release. Before the announcement of Vajpayee's death, before the announcement made by the hospital, there was a detailed arrangement with the residence of the former Prime Minister as well as the previous arrangement.

From Prime Minister Modi to Sonia Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee arrived at Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar immediately after reaching Vajpayee's residence in the name of many big names of Indian politics.
Mortal remains will be kept at the BJP headquarters for payment of their last honor from 9 am to 1 pm on Friday for the general public, after which the final visit of the former Prime Minister will begin. They will be given a state funeral at the memory stall in the national capital on Friday.
